Effortless investing

Bmg Bank is 93 year old, it was initially created as a loan bank, but it became a full digital bank in 2018, offering a debit and credit card, payments, cashback, transfers, balance, benefits plan, savings, everything that a modern bank has today.

In 2020 and 2021 I was the Senior Product Designer responsible for the Savings and Investments plataforms. I was also part of the team responsible for the app and website redesign first redesign, and I was helping the team responsible for the new Design System.

During this time, I had the opportunity to develop some projects that evolved the Investments part of the app, in order to help the account clients learn how to start investing, also improving the way investor clients use the app.

Our multidisciplinary team changed the following flows:
1. Sign up;
2. Investments home;
3. Simulator;
4. Product comparison screen;
5. Product details;
6. Promotions;
7. Portfolio management.

Using some Design methodologies, such as:
1. Quantitative research;
2. In depth user interviews;
3. Journey mapping;
4. Benchmarking;
5. Usability testing;
6. Data analysis;
7. Prototyping with Figma;
8. Design critiques and co-creation workshops;
9. Design System proposals and updates.
